Final Composition

Breakdown
My workflow for this particular experiment started with using Luma Labs to generate a splat of the environment and my subject. I then exported the splat as a .ply file and imported that file into Blender using an add-on that allows you to import .ply files using geometry nodes.
When converting the points in the splat into actual geometry, it’s very messy in solid view, but once rendered it create a beautiful geometric glitch effect that can only be achieved through this process.

Room 109 Guassian Splat Experiment
I was experimenting with using Gaussian splats for photographic purposes. The idea is to create a splat of a scene and import it into Blender to then alter camera angles and embrace the distortions in the splat as a stylistic element.
