Omni is a portable pod shaped projection device to aid those who are impacted by hearing loss. The core idea was synesthesia, the rare neurological phenomenon where stimulating one sense triggers automatic experiences in another. In our case we wanted to visualize the sounds in one's environment through audio cues.

While a typical solution would be to develop a software based solution, our team believed that it was important to create a tactile and purposeful physical product that can easily integrate into any space, just like placing down a portable speaker.
